Nebraska has enacted the Social Work Licensure Compact

Nebraska is a member state of the Social Work Licensure Compact. Once multistate licenses begin issuing in 2026, eligible Nebraska-licensed social workers will be able to apply for a single license that authorizes practice across all compact member states — similar to the Nurse Licensure Compact.
